OREANDA-NEWS. The lack of information about toxic substances in the report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) on the results of studies of biomaterials by the oppositionist Aleksey Navalny indicates the groundlessness of allegations of a deliberate poisoning. This is stated in the commentary of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“We drew attention to the closed report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) distributed at the suggestion of Berlin on the results of research in two designated laboratories of Aleksey Navalny’s biomaterials, selected by OPCW specialists at the Charite clinic in September this year. At the request of Germany, key information was removed from the report regarding the names, chemical composition and characteristics of the relevant substances,” the diplomatic department explained. “The absence of this information testifies: statements about the allegedly deliberate poisoning of the blogger remain to be conclusions not supported by any evidence base,” the Foreign Ministry resumed.
