OREANDA-NEWS. Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders leads the vote at the primaries in the state of Nevada as a Democratic presidential candidate.

According to CNN, Sanders received 46.6 % of the vote. The second place is occupied by former US Vice President Joe Biden, who gained 19.2 %. He is followed by Pete Buttigieg (15.4 %), Elizabeth Warren (10.3 %), Amy Klobuchar (4.5 %) and Tom Steyer (3.8 %). Member of the US House of Representatives Tulsi Gabbard was supported by 0.1 % of party activists.

At a rally in Texas, Sanders announced that his team “just assembled a multi-age multi-racial coalition that will win not only in the state, but across the country.”

His rival Biden expressed satisfaction with the results in Nevada, but noted that he expects to win the next primaries in South Carolina.
