The Government in the Russian Federation has Formed a List of Prohibited to the Content of Wild Animals

OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree approving the list of animals banned for keeping. The Decree establishes a ban on the maintenance and use of animals that pose a danger to the owners, as well as those "whose habitual habitat is significantly different from the possible conditions of their detention in captivity, which may adversely affect their health, even death."
TV host and traveler Timofey Bazhenov, discussing Medvedev’s ruling with NSN, called it very timely and necessary.
“Keeping snakes at home should be prohibited and should be prosecuted. Very often we witness the tragic cases when people who do not know how to handle such animals take deadly poisonous snakes in their hands. This happens for one simple reason: you can take any snake in hand, you can hold it, take a picture of it, and it most likely will not bite. But, if it does happen. There will be very big troubles, ”noted Bazhenov.
If animals are purchased before January 1, 2020, they will be able to be kept by their owners until the natural death of animals.
