OREANDA-NEWS. On November 1, law enforcement officers detained about 300 people during unauthorized actions in the city of Minsk and the Minsk District. This was announced on Monday by the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Olga Chemodanova. “About 300 people were detained for violating the legislation on mass events in the territory of Minsk and the Minsk District; administrative protocols were drawn up against them,” she said.

According to the Ministry, on Sunday, 13 protest actions were registered. In Minsk, protesters blocked traffic. The agency noted that the event was accompanied by facts of active opposition to law enforcement officers. In particular, protesters used an improvised explosive device.

Protest actions in other regions of Belarus did not have a significant spread, and the number of their participants did not exceed 10 people, Chemodanova added.
