OREANDA-NEWS. The deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Pawel Jablonski, in an interview with Radio Zet announced Warsaw’s “unconditional” right to demand reparations from Russia for damage caused during the Second World War.

According to him, this topic should be raised constantly, since it has no statute of limitations. Jablonski also noted that in the current political situation, any attempts to come to an agreement with Moscow are associated with a number of difficulties.

First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Dmitry Novikov, commented on Jablonski’s opinion. The parliamentarian said that the absurdity in the statements of Polish politicians is rapidly growing. Novikov emphasized that the activities of Polish politicians, connected with their attempts to aggressively review historical facts, reveal hidden meanings of this policy, which aims not only to support the current anti-Russian position with argument, but also to get definite material benefits.
