OREANDA-NEWS. US President Donald Trump criticized his former national security advisor John Bolton after the theses from his memoirs, that had not yet been published, appeared in the media.

On his Twitter page, the American leader wrote that Bolton made many mistakes in his work. “…Frankly, if I listened to him, we would be in World War Six by now,” the head of the White House stated.

Trump added that Bolton’s candidacy “couldn’t get approved for the Ambassador to the U.N. years ago.” According to the President, the ex-adviser “begged” him for appointment to a position that does not require confirmation in the Senate. “I gave him [This job. – Ed.] despite many saying “Don’t do it, sir,” Trump wrote.

Commenting on the Bolton’s memoirs, Trump called them “a nasty & untrue book.”
