OREANDA-NEWS The law on the removal of parliamentary immunity was signed by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov and sent for signature to President Vladimir Zelensky, according to the website of the parliament.

The parliament on Tuesday in final reading passed a law proposing amendments to the constitution regarding the abolition of parliamentary immunity from January 2020. The document has yet to be signed by the president of Ukraine. The deputy of the Ukrainian party “Opposition platform - for life” Vasily Nimchenko said that next week the party will challenge the adoption of a law on the abolition of parliamentary immunity in the Constitutional Court, as the law was allegedly adopted with violations. The party "Servant of the people" deny possible violations.

As it isreported on the documet’s page on the parliament’s website, the law was "returned with the signature of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine" and "sent for signature to the president."
