OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the next meeting of the leaders of the Normandy four countries (Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany) to resolve the situation in the Donbass will take place after the end of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Because of the coronavirus, each of us [Of the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. – Ed.] concentrated on the affairs of his country. We do not abandon attempts to return our people and our territories. The meeting of the Normandy group will take place after the end of the coronavirus pandemic,” the politician stated during a press conference dedicated to the first anniversary of his inauguration.

At the same time, Zelensky noted that if negotiations in the format of the Minsk group come to a standstill, he will be ready to turn to other formats. “The Minsk format is a priority, but no one is canceling any other format. We are ready for any format that can bring us closer to the end of the war and the return of our territories,” Ukrainian President explained.
