OREANDA-NEWSSerbian President Aleksandar Vučić will arrive in Moscow to discuss the situation in Kosovo and Metohija with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The meeting will take place before the end of this year, the press service of the cabinet of the Serbian leader said on Monday.

“President Vučić and President Putin agreed to meet in Moscow before the end of the year and exchange positions on the most important issues, especially on Kosovo and Metohija. Putin told Vučić that he was observing his actions and was well aware that Serbia was in a difficult position, as well as that he’s ready to help”, the statement said after a telephone conversation between the two leaders.

In turn, President Vučić thanked the interlocutor for “the attention Putin is paying to the development of Serbian-Russian relations” and for “support in protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia”. The President of the Balkan Republic congratulated the Russian leader on his 67th birthday and wished Putin "good health and personal happiness, as well as strength in the future, to successfully protect the interests of Russia and the fraternal Russian people".
