OREANDA-NEWS. Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, voiced all five questions that citizens will be asked to answer on the day of local elections on October 25.

On Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Ukrainians to come to local elections and announced “five important issues,” but did not immediately name them. Next day, he said that the first of five questions will concern the imposition of life sentences for those guilty of corruption. On Thursday, the head of state named the second one: citizens will be asked if they support the creation of a free economic zone in Donbass.

As for remaining questions, they will be the following. Do you support the reduction of the number of national parliament deputies to 300 (instead of 450)? Do you support the legalization of cannabis for medical purposes? Do you support the right of Ukraine to use the guarantees defined by the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances to restore its state sovereignty and territorial integrity?
