OREANDA-NEWS  By 2026, every VTB customer will have a digital assistant. Artificial intelligence technologies will eventually be introduced into all the processes and services around us. This opinion was expressed by Vadim Kulik, Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of VTB Bank, in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel.

"Artificial intelligence is a HYPE topic, fashionable. But in fact, its perception by society has only happened so widely in recent years. And thus, in fact, we are rushing towards a beautiful world where there is not a single process in which there is no artificial intelligence," said Vadim Kulik. As an example, he cited Tamara's voice assistant with a 3D radar, which VTB introduced at the end of 2023.

"You can, by talking to him, carry out transactions, make payments," the top manager continued. He noted that the VTB My Investments application has a robot consultant who advises clients on certain investment strategies.

"But the leap is still really ahead. On the horizon until 2026, as VTB Bank, we set ourselves what task — each client — by client we mean, including an employee — has at least one digital advisor. That is, in fact, each of you will have such an adviser," Kulik said.

Digital assistants and artificial intelligence, according to Kulik, are one of the trends in the modern development of fintech. Among other trends, he named the achievement of technological sovereignty by large Russian companies and departments, the development of biometric systems and services based on them. Kulik called the last, fourth trend the desire of large market participants to develop such services in which the user does not experience any difficulties, difficulties.

"Over the strategic period until the end of 2023, digital transformation has brought VTB Bank more than 300 billion rubles in economic benefits. And in the coming years, this effect will reach a value of 580 billion rubles," Kulik concluded.
