OREANDA-NEWS. The Kirov Non-Ferrous Metal Processing Plant took the repeated ISO 9001:2000 requirements conformity quality management system certification audit that took place between 18 and 22 December 2006.

According to the press service of the company, the audit was conducted by the auditors of the TUV CERT TUV certification body Thuringen e.V. (Germany).
 
According to the quality general director Andrey Martynov the plant’s arrangements for the event included a number of actions in order to improve the quality management system. The most significant of them no doubt are: quality policy relevance assessment; drawing up new documents and revising the ones currently in force; realizing the projects that improve the quality management system, quality of the products, products development and modernization; central plant laboratory accreditation.
                                                                           
The plant’s objective for the year of 2007 is to continue improving the quality of its products by means of renewing its equipment and realizing the investment program to encourage the enterprise to increase the volumes of rolled stock output that meet the international standards.
