Dozens of Sharks and Stingrays are Annually Entangled in Plastic Trash

OREANDA-NEWS.A new study shows that every year dozens of sharks and stingrays are entangled in plastic waste in the oceans.
Scientists from the University of Exeter studied previously published research and messages on the social network Twitter on the subject of entanglement of sharks and stingrays in plastic, and they found the information about more than 1000 such cases.
They note that the true amount is probably much higher than what was calculated, since only a small number of studies focused on the problem of tangle of sharks and stingrays in plastic trash.
