OREANDA-NEWS  Roscosmos showed the landing site of the first Russian mission — the Luna-25 automatic interplanetary station — on the surface of the Earth's natural satellite. The image was published by the state corporation in Telegram.

Roscosmos notes that the station "will have to make a soft landing in the vicinity of the South Pole of the Moon to study the lunar regolith and exosphere."

Also on the presented image you can see the landing sites of Soviet missions — "Luna-9", "Luna-13", "Luna-16", "Luna-17", "Luna-20", "Luna-21", "Luna-23" and "Luna-24".
In July, Roscosmos announced that the Luna-25 automatic interplanetary station had been delivered to the Vostochny Cosmodrome.

In June, TASS, with reference to the tour operator RocketTrip, said that the launch of Luna-25 is scheduled for August 11.
