OREANDA-NEWS  Moscow and Beijing have agreed on new supplies of Russian weapons. This was reported by the Head of the delegation of Rostec (part of Rosoboronexport) Viktor Kladov at the exhibition in Zhuhai.

"We are actively cooperating with China in all areas of military-technical cooperation – land, air and water. In addition to the successful implementation of two contracts for the S-400 and SU-35, we have a lot of other projects. I would not like to go into details, but I will say that we just recently signed three more contracts with the Chinese side," he said.

Victor Kladov also noted that SU-35 fighters evoke the most positive response from Chinese pilots. "Machines loved, praised for excellent tactical and technical characteristics, ease of management, maneuverability. In General, like these machines. And we are proud of it," he said.

Aerospace salon Airshow China-2018 takes place in Zhuhai from 6 to 11 November.

The contract for the supply of 24 SU-35 fighters to China was signed in 2015 with a term of implementation in 2019. In the same year, we signed a contract for S-400, deliveries should be completed by 2020. Kladov assured that Russia will execute them in time.

In addition, Moscow will give Myanmar six SU-30SM fighters, the contract was signed this year and is already being implemented. This agreement was reached during the visit of Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to Myanmar in January this year .Also Russia will supply Nay Pyi Taw six combat training aircraft Yak-130.

In total, Rosoboronexport will carry out a plan to sell weapons abroad in the amount of at least $ 13.4 billion. "Despite the tough competition in the foreign market, despite the sanctions imposed against Russia, the plan to sell arms exports in 2018 will not be lower than last year," Kladov concluded.
