OREANDA-NEWS  Scientists of N. F. Katanov Khakass State University (KHSU) have developed a new approach to creating brighter and more durable LEDs. According to RIA Novosti, the researchers included silver nanoparticles with special geometry in the LEDs.

Thus, the scientists activated the effect of surface plasmon resonance, amplifying electromagnetic radiation at the boundary of silver and dielectric. Due to the effect, the light is reflected more intensely than before.

In the future, a new type of LEDs will allow you to create brighter and more durable screens.

Previously, a drug that allows you to grow new teeth was developed by researchers from the University of Kyoto and Fukui Universities in Japan. The drug allows the production of antibodies-blockers of the USAG-1 gene, which limits the growth of teeth in humans and animals.
