As is known, at the government meeting, which was held on December 30, this project combining the age-old traditions of art of building and the trends in modern architecture was approved by the leader of the Turkmen state, who paid particular attention to modernization of the material and technical base of the national education and science to further develop and improve these very important spheres. on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the large-scale reform has been launched in the epoch of Great Revival that resulted in construction of the buildings of the universities, schools and preschool establishments supplied with multimedia technologies and state-of-the-art equipment. The success of this reform aimed particularly at training highly qualified specialists for all sectors of the national economy is vividly illustrated by the projects developed by the students and teachers of the Polytechnic Institute that will take real shape in future.

The university campus will become an integral part of the magnificent architectural ensemble in the southern part of Ashgabat. The Turkmen leader chose the territory located nearby the Monument to Independence – a visible symbol of the sovereign Turkmen state with the picturesque park for construction of the campus.

Addressing the high-ranking officials President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the need to create the conditions conducive to the successful studies and fruitful work of the students and teaching staff of the Institute as the centre of training oil and gas specialists as well. The Turkmen leader noted that the important tasks such as training highly qualified specialists could be fulfilled through introducing advanced technologies and know-how in the educational process, ensuring an indissoluble combination of theory and practice, promoting further development and modernization of high school science.

Noting that there were the comfortable high-raising apartment houses built for oil and gas industry workers in immediate proximity to the future campus, the President said that all these buildings including the office building of the oil and gas ministries and departments in the southern part of the city would form an architectural ensemble that become ‘a visiting card’ of the capital.

Giving the relevant instructions to improve and plant the territory with greenery the Turkmen leader demanded that the high-ranking officials ensure strict control of the quality of construction work.
