OREANDA-NEWS. Russia does not refuse to discuss the return of its officers to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) in Donbass, but it is still difficult to talk about the conditions. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, a press secretary of the Russian President.

Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Oleksiy Reznikov, said that Kiev wants Russian officers to return to the JCCC.

“Nobody refuses to discuss this issue, but first it needs to be discussed and worked out together,” Peskov told reporters, answering a question whether the Kremlin is ready to return Russian officers to the Center. The politician also noted that there are certain reasons why Russian officers stopped taking part in the work of the JCCC. “After this issue has been worked out to determine the modality of their participation, certain guarantees of their participation with equal rights, it will be possible to think of it. At present, talking about any specific conditions is difficult,” Peskov resumed.
