"These articles need to be liberalized. There is no need to put a person in prison on economic articles and choose detention as a preventive measure," Putin said at a meeting with members of the Far East public on Friday.

At the same time, Putin called on the head of the Dobroflot company, who raised this topic, to agree that "there are a lot of violations in this area, and the state must ensure the interests of society as a whole."

The President of Russia emphasized that in this situation it is necessary to find a balance between the state interests and the interests of individuals or groups.
