OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an operational meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council on April 7. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this. His words are quoted by Russian media TASS.

«The President plans, in addition to all his work affairs, in the afternoon just after the completion of the report on the work of the government, which is delivered by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in the State Duma, to hold an operational meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council», Peskov said.

He added that other events at the head of state on April 7 will not be public. In addition, Putin's meeting with the leaders of the State Duma factions is planned for the foreseeable future, but the exact date has not yet been called.

The Kremlin will make a decision on the participation of Vladimir Putin in the next G20 summit based on the current state of affairs and decisions of the organizer of the meeting — Indonesia, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. According to him, Indonesia will have the final word.

«We will clarify this, after all, Indonesia is the organizer and the presiding country. Naturally, we will focus on the organizer first of all. But depending on how the situation develops, the position on participation will be determined», the Kremlin representative said. He also stressed that Moscow attaches great importance to the G20 and considers the future summit «an important area of work».
