Decision on the gradual resumption of transport links between Russia and Belarus was accepted at the talks in the Russian capital.
The plan will be developed with the participation of representatives of Rospotrebnadzor and the sanitary and epidemiological service of the Ministry of health of Belarus.
Recall that the communication between the two countries was closed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. Russia has closed roads, pedestrian, railway, river, and mixed-use checkpoints. For its part, Belarus did not close its borders, but a two-week quarantine was in effect for those who arrived in the country.
On August 31, representatives of Russia and Belarus held talks, during which they discussed a plan to restore air travel, rail and road connections.
