OREANDA-NEWS. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, claimed that about 200 extremists, trained in Ukraine, are now on the territory of Belarus. The politician explained that radical actions during the political protests in the republic are provoked and financed from Ukraine.

“There are Trident of Stepan Bandera and C14. There is the National Corps, there is the Right Sector,” the Minister clarified, mentioning Ukrainian nationalist movements. “All these structures are actively involved in provoking radical actions in Minsk and other towns and cities of Belarus, financing appropriate events, inciting those whom they consider to be promising extremist leaders to bring violent elements into what is happening during the demonstrations in the Belarusian capital,” Lavrov said during a press conference in Moscow which was held after talks with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei.
