Scientists claim that Gauls loved the Mediterranean wine
OREANDA-NEWS. Archeologists investigated the ceramics found in the early Celtic settlement Viks which existed in the Iron Age in the east of modern France.
Within new work the group of archeologists from several European institutes decided to investigate in detail this ceramics to find out, vessels were how exactly used that is that specifically Gauls drank and ate from them.
However, everything appeared quite so. Experts did not find in this region in general any wineries. It only confirms that Celts preferred to import wine, as well as vessels for its use.
