OREANDA-NEWS. June 12, 2009. The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, head of Governmental commission for coordination of actions of law enforcement and other authorities over a period of investigation of an explosion in Melitopol, has awarded with the top distinction of the Government – Honourable Certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – ten officers of Main Department of MIA in Zaporizhzhya region for operative solving of the crime connected to explosion which occurred in the premises of Oshchadbank branch №8024/066 in Melitopol and detaining guilty persons.

“Detection of the crime in the shortest terms has become possible owing to operativeness and professionalism of law enforcement officers,” Olexandr Turchynov emphasized and thanked to all the participants who contributed to solving of a resonant crime for the self-sacrificing work.

The Government has also rewarded with its distinction four employees of the Main MIA Department in Luhansk region who devised a new automated sketch identification system and an intellectual data analysis. According to the First Vice Prime Minister, with applying the new system crime fight will shift to the other professional and intellectual level.
