OREANDA-NEWS. The State Duma of the Russian Federation received presidential amendments for the country’s Constitution for the second reading of the bill.

This was announced by the lower house's Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin. “The president’s amendments, about which he spoke earlier, are received. They are set out on 24 pages,” he said. According to the speaker, the amendments for the second reading of the draft law will be sent to the Committee of the State Duma on State Building and Legislation.

The bill “On Improving the Regulation of Certain Issues of the Organization of Public Authority” was submitted on January 20. The State Duma at a meeting on January 23 approved the presidential draft law amending the Constitution in the first reading.

The second reading is scheduled for March 10, the third will be held on March 11.
