OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2012. The Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program is holding two workshops on customs issues in Shanghai.

The CAREC informs that a workshop on customs inspection techniques will be conducted on 6-17 June and a workshop on customs intelligence on 24 June- 3 July.

The Asian Development Bank and the General Administration of China Customs, through the Shanghai Customs College, will co-sponsor the first training workshop. It will cover such issues as customs information systems and e-port development, risk management, special customs zone management, and customs compliance facilitation. Senior and mid-level officials from customs agencies in Mongolia will participate in the training workshop.
